Please note that this information will no longer be collected or published at specialty level after Q2 07/08. However, the all specialty figures on inpatient and outpatient waiting times will continue to be published on a monthly basis, and activity data on a quarterly basis.
The change has taken place in order to reduce the overall burden to the NHS of submitting data centrally. It also reflects the fact that DH now publishes, on a monthly basis, waiting times from referral to treatment for a number of key treatment functions.
