Just over 81% of patients had been waiting less than six months, and just over 55% had been waiting less than three months.  
Between September 2002 and September 2003, the number of patients waiting over one year decreased by 74,400.  
Data for quarter ended 30 September 2003 is likely to be available in the week commencing 16th February 2004.
