Cause specific rates exclude neonatal deaths (deaths to infants under 28 days).

Figures represent the number of deaths registered in each year.

All rates calculated using 1991 census based estimates, except 1999 and 2001, which are calculated using 2001 census based estimates.



For 1999 and 2001 rates are calculated for ICD 10 causes of diseases.
